Checking Connection between Computer and Router (Windows)
Connection between the computer and router is disabled.
Follow the procedure below to check the connection status and enable the connection.

Check 1 Make sure the router is turned on.
If the router is turned off, turn it on.
If the router is turned on, restart it.

Check 2 When using wired LAN, make sure the Ethernet cable is connected securely.
If the Ethernet cable is not connected, connect it securely.

Check 3 When using Wi-Fi, make sure the connection with the wireless router.
Check the connection status between the computer and wireless router following the procedure below.

For Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016:
-
Click
(Network) icon on lower right. -
Make sure the network name (SSID) to which you want to connect is displayed on the top of the network list.
If the network name (SSID) is not displayed on the top of the list:

Click
(Network) icon on lower right. -
Select network name (SSID) to which you want to connect from network list.

Select Connect automatically check box and click Connect.

If password is specified for wireless router, enter password in Enter the network security key box and select Next.
If you do not find a network name (SSID) to connect in the network list:

Open Control Panel by either of procedure below.

Click Start button and select Windows System > Control Panel.

Enter "Control Panel" in the search box and select Control Panel from the search results.

Select Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Set up a new connection or network from displayed menu.

Select Manually connect to a wireless network on Choose a connect option screen and select Next.

Enter necessary items on Enter information for the wireless network you want to add screen and select Next.

Select Close when Successfully added (SSID) appears.

Display network list and make sure network name (SSID) for which you performed Wi-Fi settings is displayed.

For Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012/R2:

Select Available on Settings charm.

Make sure Connected is displayed by network name (SSID) to which you want to connect from available network list.
If Connected is not displayed:

Select Available on Settings charm.

Select available network name (SSID) to which you want to connect from network list and select Connect.
If you do not find a network name (SSID) to connect in the network list:

Move mouse pointer on lower left of Start screen and right-click.

Select Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Set up a new connection or network from displayed menu.

Select Manually connect to a wireless network on Choose a connect option screen and select Next.

Enter necessary items on Enter information for the wireless network you want to add screen and select Next.

Select Close when Successfully added (SSID) appears.

Display network list and make sure network name (SSID) for which you performed Wi-Fi settings is displayed.

For Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008/R2:

Click
(Network) icon on lower right. -
Make sure Connected is displayed by network name (SSID) to which you want to connect from network list.
If Connected is not displayed:

Click
(Network) icon on lower right. -
Select network name (SSID) to which you want to connect from network list.

Select Connect automatically check box and click Connect.

If password is specified for wireless router, Connect to a network screen appears. Enter password in Security key: box and select OK.
If you do not find a network name (SSID) to connect in the network list:

Click Start button and select Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Set up a new connection or network.

Select Manually connect to a wireless network on Choose a connect option screen and select Next.

Enter necessary items on Enter information for the wireless network you want to add screen and select Next.

Select Close when Successfully added (SSID) appears.

Display network list and make sure network name (SSID) for which you performed Wi-Fi settings is displayed.
