Enabling Network Connection of Computer (Windows)

The network connection of the computer is disabled.

Follow the procedure below to enable it.

Note

  • If your computer has a wireless switch, turn it on.

    For details on settings of your computer, refer to the instruction manual supplied with the computer or contact the manufacturer.

For Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016:

  1. Open Control Panel by either of procedure below.

    • Click Start button and select Windows System > Control Panel.

    • Enter "Control Panel" in the search box and select Control Panel from the search results.

  2. Select Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.

  3. Right-click Ethernet when using wired LAN, or Wi-Fi when using Wi-Fi.

  4. Select Enable.

For Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012/R2:

  1. Move mouse pointer on lower left of Start screen and right-click.

  2. Select Network Connection from menu.

  3. Right-click Ethernet when using wired LAN, or Wi-Fi when using Wi-Fi.

  4. Select Enable.

For Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008/R2:

  1. Click Start button and select Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.

  2. Right-click Local Area Connection when using wired LAN, or Wireless Network Connection when using Wi-Fi.

  3. Select Enable.
